Professor Ichiki Takanori of The University of Tokyo (principal researcher of the Kawasaki Institute of Industrial Promotion Innovation Center of NanoMedicine) was invited to a seminar to give a lecture on research and development in Tonomachi under a theme of "Toward future blood based cancer detection device - Aim for preventive medicine ~". 18 people participated from companies, research institutions and more.
The seminar was held at magnet area of "Innovation Center of NanoMedicine (iCONM)" of the Kawasaki Institute of Industrial Promotion Laboratory in Tonomachi.
The theme of the seminar was on cutting-edge research contents such as cancer detection devices and synthesis molecules in cancer. Opinions were exchanged with participants in a relaxed atmosphere over a casual food and soft drinks, along with vigorous networking among the participants.
「Tonomachi Café」invites researchers, entrepreneurs, venture capital and more from different fields as guest speakers. For this once a month regular session, through active exchange of opinions among the participants, we aim to offer opportunities for interdisciplinary research and creation of new businesses.
